Our Tug of War club is based in Lakeville, MN. Our club is part of the United States Amateur Tug of War Association (USATOWA) which was formed in 1978 and is made up of clubs from Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We hike local parks near the Twin Cities. Our hikes are somewhat more strenuous/ rigorous than those offered by most of the area meetup groups. The group is social, but also fitness-oriented. The pace is moderate, but everyone is expected to keep up. Until the foliage gets thick later in the spring, most of our hikes will include some off-trail travel (i.e., through the woods).
